Greetings. I've been longtime lurker of the forums and with the new book I decided to jump in and I'm glad I did.

Been playing Lizardmen since the 7th edition book was released when I was introduced to Warhammer Fantasy and never looked back. Lizardmen were on the front page of the GW website and their getting started guides described the perfect army for what I wanted to play. And also....Dinosaurs!

The last year or so I've played mostly my second army, Skaven, but I've been able to get in an occasional game with the Lizzies. With the new book, I expect that to reverse as I get back to my favorite army. I also dabble in 40k with Space Wolves.

I'm not a tournament player but my play group general plays reasonably competitive while also allowing for casual fluffy lists when the mood strikes us. So, while I want to do well when I play, I can also see the value in running themed lists and simply cool models.

I've been continuously painting up my force since starting them and I'm looking forward to showing how far I've come with the army.

I also read pulp/hardboiled/noir fiction, and some sci/fi and fantasy. I enjoy samurai films, spaghetti westerns and film noir. Most of my Warhammer group plays in a long running D&D campaign and we play M:TG and board games when we can find time.

Weclome! Although I've seen your picture to rnough to feel like you're already established.

But yes, dinosauz!!! I'm looking forward to see any progress you make :)

I also like film noir, I also like depressing scandanavian films.
