Ok, so i'm planning my LM army around the theme of the Desert in terms of colour scheme and composition. The Desert can support life, but also take life away if you don't know what you're doing, and i'm trying to get this reflected in the list somewhat. Lords Slaan Mage Priest (Life), Dispel Scroll, Statue of Spite, 3 Disciplines = 425: · Focus of Mystery · The Becalming Cogitation · The Focused Rumination Slaan Mage Priest (Death), Bane Head, Cupped Hands, 3 Disciplines, BSB with Plaque of Dominion: = 510 · Focus of Mystery · The Focused Rumination · The Becalming Cogitation Core 30 Saurus Warriors with shields and full command = 390 30 Saurus Warriors with shields and full command = 390 30 Saurus Warriors with shields and full command = 390 12 Skink Skirmishers = 84 12 Skink Skirmishers = 84 Special 6 Kroxigors with Ancient = 350 20 Temple Guard with full command, sword of the hornet and war banner (Death) = 410 20 Temple Guard with full command (Life) = 355 Rare Ancient Stegadon = 275 Ancient Stegadon = 275 3938 Points Please be as brutal as you can be with any comments and/or crits
Id try to put some scarvets in the tg.... Also id take more skink skirmishers in groups of 10 Maybe some salamanders as well.... But sounds like a cool combo!
If it were me I'd swap the kroxigors for Skrox units of 16 sknks 2 Krox and loose one saurus unit for something else, either Scarvets to go in TG unit or switch an ancient steg for priest on EotG My worry with your list as it is is that you run the risk of being shot up a lot, especially the krox unit. If I was facing you I'd hurl a load of shooting at the krox as they arent that tough then focus on small parts of your saurus/TG line at one time. 5 large blocks of infantry is a lot to fit on a board. On a side note can you put 2 slann in one unit?
Pg 47 of our book on the top right in the sacred duty bit it says "Each unit of Temple Guard may only be joined by a single Slann." And try and get the feedback scroll on one of those Slanns
