Digital pics of Mazdamundi

good god that's amazing! :D wounderful work dude! :D i love the orange and blue, and the magenta feathers and orbs on the steg's crest were a nice touch, add some nice range. also, i must commend you on a terrific job on blending colors for the skinks and steg! keep it up! :smug:

Wow. The blurry pics sure didn't do this fellow justice. I love the bright choice of colours on the steg, the whole model looks fantastic. Great work.

My compliments again! It looks like a pretty easy conversion. With the weight of the slann/palanquinn, who does the stegadon hold up as far as balance is concerned?

Great work on the paint.

What a great job. Good color choices and the highlights are natural. Will you be adding anything else to the model or will this be it? I am thoroughly impressed with the entire model.

Thank you all for your compliments. It was a easy conversion all in all except I had to drill a hole in the bottom of the palanquin and insert about a inch long piece of paper clip. I then drilled a hole in the top of the steg so I can keep Mazdamundi in place so he doesnt slide off. I can also remove it and use him as a regular slaan and also put him on a normal slaan base if the steg is killed during battle.

Being able to take him off is a really good idea. I've made a few models that weren't able to do that and I always wished I wouldn't have glued them together.

Easy conversions make out better in the end sometimes. Especially after a couple years of use.

Wow that is impressive... I've seen a few Mazdamundi conversions and I think that this has to be the easiest conversion and by far the most impressive.
Has almost inspired me to have a go! Almost!

You should do it! it was fun and not too hard. Check out the other pics I just added with Mazdamundi taken off his mount and put on a regular slaan base and added to the unit of temple guard I just finished. The unit of ten took me about 12 hours and I still got 9 more to paint. But they are one of the coolest looking units in the game in my opinion so worth every hour I spent on them.

That model is absolutely amazing. The conversion is really cool but the paint job just tops it all off. I wish i could paint like that.

Where can one peruse the pictures of slann and temple guard? Am I missing something?

P.S.-Awesome. Just Awesome.

Nicely done man :D
