    When I run a slann list I always go with the power that lets him add one "free" dice. I find this helps him dominate the magic phase but i was wondering what is another good discipline that I could give him.

    Focus of Mystery and the Higher State of Consciousness if running a lone Slann.

    Focus of Mystery eliminates an possibility of not getting the spell you want. That way you will always get Spirit of the Forge, etc. Higher State of Conciousness protects him from any of those silly mage hunters.

    I ran a Slann today with all three of those against the empire. I owned them. There was nothing that he could hit the slann with that would hurt it. I used the Lore of Life because he was so shooty.
