8th Ed. Do Krox mixed units cause fear or not?

    I don't see how krox mixed units can cause fear since they do not touch the enemy unit. They FAQ'd the part about counting as base to base, right? Anything I'm missing?

    Per FAQ's for Lizardmen page #3:

    Q. Does a unit of Skinks that includes Kroxigors cause Fear?
    Are they immune to Fear? (p53)
    A. Yes to both questions

    No problem at all. :-D I really like Warhammer Fantasy table top.. but boy do they have a LOT of rules and the other rules which overwrite etc... I get confused myself (doesn't help that I have 5 edtions worth of rules floating in my head :jawdrop: ). lol

    That they cause fear is one of the primary reasons that I enjoy playing a skink army. A skrox unit really performs fairly well when the target unit is WS1. It does not really stop the skinks from dying, but that is why I take so many of them any way.
