Does anyone know a good orange-red wash/shade?

    Hello there!

I've been doing some color test for my Ripperdactyls. I'll paint their skin with Averland Sunset, wash it with a orange-red wash and then layer/highlight with Flash Gitz Yellow.

The wash I made was with Troll Slayer Orange, water and Carrobug Crimson on a proportion around 1/3/1. I'd like a wash already made so I don't f--- up with the proportions.

Someone in Reddit told me to start with a pink color, like Vallejo's Magenta (which I want to buy btw), and layering up from that point. However, from my way of painting, I don't think that'll work, specially on their tails.

So, does someone know of a orange-red wash? I'm willing to buy any brand.

Hmmm... you could try the "light rust" wash from Vallejo.
But I admit I haven't used it myself.

Looking at some videos, it looks like it could work. It's enough red while still being orange. Anyways, I can always add some red to it.

    Thanks you very much.

If it is not red enough you could instead use another one of those washes, they also have "rust" and "dark rust" washes.
