Hey, wasnt sure where this should go but i like the dogs of war crossbow men and pikemen and was wondering wether they could still be fielded . Although there is no entry for them in the army book it still has its own set of rules in pdf form . Also i might just use them in friendlys anyway , are they viable ?
Dogs of War isn't a thing anymore. Seems a bit ridiculous to use with a lizardmen army, but that's just me. I wouldn't care if you used them, but I guess you would just have to check with all your opponents first to see if they mind. I don't imagine anybody here is going to have any freaking clue about their viability though. I practically forgot all about Dogs of War, and I've never seen their rules.
I have a few Regiments of Renown, primarily as a collectors issue and also to naively pursue my high school dream of having a Lizardmen and Dogs of War army. There is an unofficial 8th edition handbook that is probably played slightly more than the technically official list from 6th edition.
