First off I am not sure I am posting in the right place but what the heck.

I question is simple would there by dragons in lustria I have searched and there seems to be mixed responses some say it's two hot while others day they should be able to be there. To go against the heat problem there are magma dragons and if they don't love the heat I don't know what will.

Sure there are dense forests but you have massive dinosaurs walking around and sure it may make flying hard but they may live on the coast and hunt sea creatures as well being able to go on land.

So judging from this would it possible for dragons to live in lustria?

There is no practical reason why Lustria would not have dragons. GW is not saying there are no dragons in Lustria, they are just not mentioning dragons in Lustria. I think they are concerned that thematically speaking, including Lustrian dragons would possibly cheapen the coolness factor of a lot of the dinosaurs, which are functionally flightless feral dragons.

From what i understood and remember in the old list from WD lost valley of carnosaurs, there's an entry called Great Wyrm which are basically dragons with some lower stats.....

Dragons at one were the greatest creatures in all the world before the coming of the Old Ones. I would imagine they could be found on any continent but, like most places, they've been depleted and gone to sleep.

On the note of Dragons in Lustria, what about Wyverns? I know Dragons existed pre-Old Ones and pretty much owned the place, so it makes sense they'd still have the occasional residence in the New World even if they have no real ties with Lizardmen. But Wyverns? Admittedly I don't know much about them so I could be way off the mark here, but are they "natural" creatures of the Warhammer world like the beasts of Lustria, or are they "magical" in the same sense Pegasi, Unicorns, Manticores, Griffons etc are (ie stable mutations). All I know is that they're big and smelly and Orcs like them. They're not Orcoid life forms like squigs are they?

    Sorry to go off topic.

I could imagine that Dragons and wyverns are examples of convergent evolution, just different reptalian creatures that evolved(?) following a similar scheme, main difference ,in warhammer setting, are number of limbs and the fact that dragons breath fire(or other things) while wyverns are just venemous

I assume that wyverns are degraded dragons. Yes magical, but corrupted examples of their noble ancestors.

The smelly and grumpy part may not be a magical feature, but rather related to poor dental hygiene.

Still, it could be worse. They don't incinerate their riders in combat.

I think we all are overlooking the skink priest who occasionally casts the boosted transformation of Kadon.

I could be wrong but I think I read somewhere that the Old Ones went to war with the Dragons when they arrived in the Warhammer world, could be a fluffy reason why they are not mentioned much in Lustria. This doesn't mean that there could not be any there however.

Well the Old Ones did go genocidal on many species that didn't fit their plans. Zoats and Fomorians come to mind.
