In my ongoing fluff piece I've developed a number of unique named characters and made a few sneaky mentions of units that sadly no longer exist so I've decided to write a few house rules.
To prevent whacky formatting I'm going to reference existing units as a base statline and work from that when possible. If anyone knows how to make a stat tables with this new fancy forum please let me know and I'll modify my posts.
Anyway without further adieu I give you my cast of characters!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eternity Warden Szeratops
Bearer of Secrets, General of the First Crusade Host
Eternity Warden Szeratops is privy to the secret origins of the Saurus race and tasked by Mazdamundi to prepare his host for the greatest crusade against the Chaos Gods in history. To this end he leads his army in a quest to uncover more secrets hidden by the Old Ones and smite any foe who stands in their way, be they servents of Chaos or otherwise.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aki-Pterixx
Son of Tepok, Destiny Incarnate, General of the Second Crusade Host
Aki-Pterixx was the sole warrior born of his spawning. The purple-feathered Saurus was born to greatness as a blessed Son of Tepok. His entire destiny is known to him, from birth to death and he is gifted with the ability to wield magic - something very few Saurus have ever been noted to be capable of.

Szeratops can be represented using a Saurus Oldblood with the following equipment: Light Armour, Great Weapon, Sacred Stegadon Helm of Itza, Crown of Command. Szeratops cannot take a mount option.
Szeratops also gains the following special rules at the cost of +80pts
Eternity Warden: As per Chakax in the current edition Lizardmen Army Book
Ritual Combat: When climbing the ranks of the Temple Guard Szeratops had to fight in ritual combat frequently. Now he is representative of Lord Mazdamundi and Hexoatl as a whole he finds himself resolving internal disputes through challenges. When fighting against another Lizardmen character in a challenge Szeratops gains extra attacks from Predatory Fighter on a To Hit roll of 5+ instead of a 6.
Key to the Eternity Chamber: As per Chakax in the current edition Lizardmen Army Book
Design Notes: This guy is pretty much Chakax on steroids (I think Chakax is super weaksauce for his cost so this doesn't seem unreasonable to me), and I think he clocks in a bit cheaper despite the Oldblood statline. I didn't want to go overboard with new fancy special rules and whatnot but I might revisit this and give him a unique Stagadon Helm of Hexoatl at some point.

Aki-Pterixx can be represented using a Saurus Oldblood with the following equipment: Halberd, Armour of Destiny (of course!). Aki-Pterixx can take either an Ancient Stegadon with an Engin of the Gods (at the same price as the Skink Priests), or a Carnosaur for a mount.
Aki-Pterixx also gains the following special rules for the cost of 160pts
Aloof: Although a genius by all rights Aki-Pterixx rarely pays much thought to his fellows or surroundings. This makes his brilliant tactical acumen somewhat of a moot point if things don't go according to plan. Even though he may be fully aware of the situation it simply may not occur to him to inform his underlings. As a result any model that uses Aki-Pterixx's leadership for Inspiring Presence also suffer from Stupidity.
Sacred Son of Tepok: Aki-Pterixx is blessed by Tepok, protector of places and master of magic. Aki-Pterixx is a Level 2 Wizard that can choose spells from the lore of Fire, Shadow, and Death. Aki-Pterixx CANNOT take spells from the Lore of Undeath - he is too sacred for that!
Destiny Incarnate: Aki-Pterixx must always be your general unless the army also includes either Lord Mazdamundi, Lord Kroak or Eternity Warden Szeratops.
