Is 2 slanns for Ard Boyz a good or bad idea? I was going to run a life slann in a TG unit 20. Then run a second slann of shadow in a block of 20 saurus. then run 2 more blocks of 24 saurus with spears an each side. Then run 3 units of 2 salamanders, and 2 stegadons, and 3 units of 7 chameleons. Thinking of also running 3 units of skink blowpipes for the pest factor. Anyways my fear is that I could blow threw all my dice with one slann let alone 2 slanns. But it does give me a lot more spells to devulge from. I was thinking of giving the temple guard the eternal flame banner and taking the blood statuette of spite for my Revered guard. I however was going to only give my shadow slann the plaque of Tepok and so he would only have 5 of the spells and give my life slann the lore master ability with a channeling rod, or a powers scroll. But both will take the free dice. One will also take negated enemy wizard 6's and the other unfathomable presence, probably the one in the saurus block. Anyways help would be nice since the tournament is tomorrow.
I think that Life and Light conflict a little here, they don't let you make really good combinations... Might I suggest Life and Shadow for a nasty "Dwellers below" attack? Or maybe Death and Shadow? Heavens and Shadow for "curse of the midnight wind + Enfeebling" That's how I would run them anyway.
