8th Ed. Dualcarno + Slann 2.4k

    Yes I know, it sounds pretty crazy. I don't think that the list is optimal at al, this would be for a fun tournament in the local club. I do however wonder what you guys think about this crazy idea. Here goes:

    Lord
    Saurus Oldblood
    Carnosaur (fully upgraded)
    Great Weapon
    Luckstone
    Armor of Destiny
    Crown of Command

    Slann Mage-Priest (General)
    Wandering Deliberations
    Dispel Scroll
    60 points to spend

    So how does that look? List ends at 2396/2400, with 60 points left that I would probably spend on the Slann. I do not have my book with me so I'll take a look at that later. Any suggestions on what to give to the Slann?

    The plan would be the following: get the Carno's in combat asap, and use the magic support of the Slann (that is in the saurus) to get rid of either high priority targets (Cavalry with 1+ saves etc) or buff the saurus/carno's. I can also buff the saurus with the 5+ regen every turn and use that to heal a wound on a carno/stegadon. Skinks and Terradons are chaff and general nuisance units. The ancient steg is there to provide a support charge and act as a cannonmagnet with some luck.

    So what do you guys think? I think this might be a funny and interesting list, where it isnt a huge disaster if the Slann blows itsself up.
