8th Ed. eldar outflanking question

    has any eldar players tried sticking stricking scorpions in a wave serpant and holding them in reserve to outflank them

    no probs, thats what mods are for.

    anyways, I haven't tried outflanking the SS, but I have just infiltrated them. I prefer to do this for a few reasons: 1) you are not at the mercy of the dice in deciding when and where they are brought into play, 2) it provides immediate threat/distractions to the opponent, 3) it can help dictate where you opponent deploys and moves for the first few turns and we all know that controlling the movement phase provides a huge advantage to a player.

    I'd be willing to give it a shot once or twice just to see but the big problem I have with Eldar vehicles is that they aren't assault vehicles so the units in them are at the opponents mercy for at least a turn before they actually get into that important CC.
