Next Sunday I have match with Empire (2500pts), after little scouting I know his preferring core of army is: some kind of griffon rider, 2 mages lvl4 and lvl 2, 2 hordes of halbers, 1-2 cannons, 1-2 hellblasters , little units of knight and a lot of priests.

First, I havent saurruses for horde (skinks, yes). Then, I thinking about big units of s skirmisher (3x14), bunkered slaan (lore of Life),EoG, cavalry and saliies, of course teradons and chammos for WM hunting.

Idea is simply, I want to scare him, fear, terror, salamanders fire, mask of eek and like things, simply break his Ld. Life lore for healing bigger monsters.

Have anyone some more helpful advices?
    Thank

I play empire quite a bit and thats a rough lineup.
I for one just dont bring any carno's or steg's. Its just too easy to not get first turn and poof 300-700 points gone. EotG is cool but I wouldn't.

Life is great, dwellers will make those hordes vanish or help you survive the 60 S6 attacks.
Also as many salamanders as you have (or max you like without being cheesy) for the knights

Mask of EEk on the TG champion is a cool idea, and the skrox units (great for knights) cause fear.

Agreed on what is said above but I'll add that Cupped Hands may help you drop their magic, and I know a basic steg did take the heat off my army. 235 point herring. If it hits his line, good, if not, it was troops preserved for battle.

    Hello,
Watch out for the Hellblaster with engenieer. It has almost no chance of expolding, and can pack quite a punch.
The new steam tank is weaker then the old one but It is still scary. A good emp player will take 2 mages with light so skirmish units will evaporate:(
Light boosted Halabeard with a warrior priest is just a pain in the A.... you have to outmanover them. Also His new MCav is quite handy too A 1+ save and Str5 with Ap...
