    So after looking at the latest ETC drafts (currently draft 2.5.1) 2015 it seems like the standard Slann +TG supported by Tetto is the way to go? Or a CO-buss supported by a Slann?

    Slann: BSB - Razor Standard, Becalming, Wandering Deliberations, Dispel Scroll, Obsidian Amulet
    Old Blood: LA, Potion of Strength, Enchanted Shield, Prianha Blade, Dawnstone (Goes with TG)
    Old Blood: GW, CO, Talisman of Preservation, Egg of Quango, Dragon Helm

    Tetto Eko

    12x Skink Cohort: Mus
    18x Skink Cohort: Mus
    26x Skink Cohort: Full Command
    10x Skink Skirmisher
    10x Skink Skirmisher
    10x Skink Skirmisher
    10x Skink Skirmisher

    28x Tempel Guard: Full Comand, Banner of Swiftness

    2x Salamander: extra handler


    Not entierly sure how you would create a stable CO-buss with the current restrictions. Any thoughts?

    With the current restrictions, a good coc bus cant be fielded. Just not. 3 points for tetto eko, 2 for the 2nd mounted char... thats all you can take.
    Btw, im fully against blocks, id skip all the blocks and field more flyers, 2 mounted chars, 2 steggies.

    @betelgeuse: I am afraid that you have to many comp points there:
    slann -1
    second old blood - 2
    tetto eko -3
    fourth skirmisher -1

    You are fieldind 7 comp points, the maximum is 5.

    The tetto eko CObus is unfortunatelly banned with tetto costing 3 choices and the cowboys costing 2 choices after the second. Too bad it would have been a fun list and it would have brought diversity. I think that they have overcomped lizardmen, we are not that overpowered to begin with

    Actually the restriction say:

    Each cold­one mounted saurus character after the first – 2 choices

    Not second old blood. So the list should acctually be legal.

    But I agree with you that Lizardmen is a bit to though restricted. -3 on tetto is really harsh. He is -3 if joined by a slann but with no slann in the list he is definately not worth the -3.

    Regarding Stegs I have a hard time seing them in an ETC environment. I get the feeling that they get blown to smithereens right away and would then have given up way to many points.

    sorry about that, you are right with the 5 choices.

    Can you elaborate on the stegs? I m liking them more and more recently. They are super versatile, blowpipes to inflict ranged damage, impacts hits to peel off a few wounds and stubborn to act as a tarpit. They have a role in any stage of the game

    I think Stegs are wonderful. Especially when you play SweComp for example. But on ETC they tend to give away alot of points to cannons and searing dooms.

    Hello,

    regarding the list. I think it pretty much summarizes the core what each of this years Lizarmen lists will look like under the current ETC restrictions. I know the goal was to generate more variety between lists with the new comp pack but I feel they have failed miserably in this with the Lizardmen. With the high competitive nature of the ETC meta I feel that you are forced to go down this route which you have also chosen. You have however taken Tetto over the channels and additional mounted character. Unfortunately I feel this is the weaker of the two but this is just my opinion. Tetto+slann are just overcomped. As you said maybe together they could be 3 choises but now it's just absurd.

    Anyhow some food for the thought about the list, why not go Life or High lore on your slann now that you have taken Tetto? Tetto will provide you with the early game ranged threats and Life is great for the TG bunker later in the game when combat takes place.

    The oldblood builds look great. But does the egg and some additional stats boost the character enough to justify taking oldblood instead of just 4+ ward saved scar vet? I mean you could save quite a lot of points here by switching to Vet and giving the egg to your slann. Maybe then invest in some chameleons or terradons with these points.

    I got to agree with Skinquisitor about the CO-bus. I don't think you are able to make one efficiently under this comp pack. Although I disagree about the part about blocks. I think that you need some more punch in the list than just the saurus characters. I don't think that just skinks as units would do the trick.
