I recently started a Lizardmen army and I am trying to expand it to have a well rounded list for an all comers tournament list. I currently have these models from a trade on bartertown:

    Slann
    Oldblood on foot
    Tettoeko
    Chakax
    Skink Priest
    Saurus Warriors Hw x30
    Saurus Warriors Spear x30
    Skink Cohort/Skirmishers x40
    Saurus Cavalry x12
    Chameleon Skinks x 15
    3 Stegadons
    Razordon

The question I have is how to expand from here. I got an ebay coupon for 50$ off a single item that I have to use in the next 10 days. So I am trying to balance what I need to expand my army as well as not wasting my 50$ coupon on a 20$ model and wasting 30$. So here are some of my ideas to expand:
    OOP Carnosaur
    Terradons/Rippers
    Bastiladon
    Templeguard
Kroxigor (If I can find some on ebay)

Since I am brand new to Lizardmen any advice would be greatly appreciated as I do not want to waste this opportunity. I am currently leaning toward Terradons or Kroxigor (if anyone lists them on ebay).
Thanks for all of your help and advice

I have been shopping eBay lately:
Terradons/Rippers, Bastiladon, & Kroxigor are all out there to be found. There are buy it now options for NIB kits for the first two. The going price seems to be about $17.65 for OOP metal Kroxigors. Hope that helps.

I am mostly wondering if you had to choose only one to buy what would be most beneficial to a new player?

Personally, I'd go for the Basti or Terradons :D.

A Saurus Scar-Vet/Oldblood mounted on a Cold One is good upgrade option for characters. Salamanders are good. Kroxigor ranked up with Skinks for a different core choice. Terradon/Rippers are great too.

I'd go with either Terradons or a Bastilidon.

I'd definitely say temple guard, they look cooler and are way better than saurus. Although you could use the saurus with hand weapons as proxy for them.
If you want something different go with kroxigor as they hit as hard as a stegadon but are much more resistant to cannon fire.

To expand your collection to give you options in a few things I'd go with the Carnosaur and/or Temple Guard.
The Temple Guard give you that nice block with the slann as an alternative, and harder hitting, than the saurus warriors. And the Carnosaur would give you a nice vicious monster and combat character that makes for a great combo with the steggies.

I'd also suggest looking at some more razordons (one just never seems to be enough for me) and Salamanders. After that. Go with some more big beasties, Kroxigors, bastilodons, terradons and rippers.

That's just my personal take on it. In the end though I always advocate buy the models that you love (whatever it is about it that you love). It will make you more interested in that model/unit and you will enjoy it more than if it was bought just because you "need it to compete"
