8th Ed. Fancy Resin Bases 1500pts

    So, my jungle temple resin bases are on the way, expected in about 1.5-2 weeks, and I was painting up my Steggle last night... time to get some feedback on the list I'm going for...

    Heroes:
    -Scar Vet:
    Cold One, Dawnstone, Dragon Helm, Great Weapon, Light Armour

    - Skink Priest Lvl 2 LoHeavens
    Channeling Staff

    - Skink Priest Lvl 2 LoBeasts

    Core:
    x20 Saurus
    Hand Weapons + Sheild, Full Command

    x10 Skink Skirmishers
    Javelins

    x10 Skink Skirmishers
    Javelins

    Special:

    x7 Cold One Cavalry, Full Command, Spears

    x3 Terradon Riders

    Rare:

    - Ancient Stegadon, Blowpipes, Sharpened Horns

    - Salamander Hunting Pack, Additional Handler



    Thoughts? Would have loved to have gotten the Scar Vet onto a Carnosaur but not sure where i'd find the points for that at 1500...

    looks pretty good overall to me! your mileage might vary with the giant blowpipes, but they can be awesome when lined up properly. also... if you get your Saurus Warriors up to 24 you can rank them up by six and they'll pack an even bigger punch. (of course you could also do three ranks of six with two stragglers in the back!)

    The only problem you may have is with the armies that field a level 4. If you could replace the channeling staff with a d-scroll, that would probably be the only recommendation that I have.
