Finished up my Bastilodon model. He'll make his tournament debut this month! Just 3 more ripperdactyls to go and I'm all done. Here's some pic and please visit my blog for more info and pics!

    Very nice Blastydon there.

What techniques do you use for your basing?

Thanks N810! My wife particularly liked the spots also... but she didn't say "It's cute!"... which we all know is a death wish for when you play your next game, lol!

@GCPD: I usually flock the base before hand then will spray it black, making sure to leave some empty spots for the water theme (every model in my army has water on the base so I have to make it all tie in.) After it dries I drybrush it with Rotting Flesh (or a similar color) and add small amounts of white till I'm satisfied with it. Lastly, I dab some glue in various places and put static grass on.
