Hey all This is my Warhammer Fantasy army list. I am usually playing 40k, but I've decided to try out WHFB, and since a squad of Saurus were the first miniatures I've ever bought, I've decided to play Lizardmen. I would really glad if I could get some feedback on this army list, since I am new the the WHFB-world, and any advice would be great! Anything that should be corrected, something that should be left out or something that should be added?
looks good although you can not have 2 Shrieking Blades, Enchanted Shields, or Crown of Command its in the rulebook under magic items you can only have one of each item. I would also get rid of the cold one calv and use terradons instead, they are great against war machines and are great at harassing the enemy!
Thank you for notifying me of this I do have a question, why are Terradon riders better than Cold Ones cavalry? The only positive sides I can see, are the fact that Terradons aren't subject to stupidity and that Terradons can fly. Cold Ones cavalry have 2 higher WS and Leadership, 1 more S, T and A. They do have lower initiative and a single wound less, but I don't see how this balances the differences. If you could explain me why Terradon riders are better than Cold Ones, I would be really glad
Oh, okay then. But I expect my 3x10 skink skirmishers to do that, and my 10x Chameleons to attack the warmachines/harras.
Yeah, I don't suggest you take that guys advice. I am just saying they aren't really better, it is kind of apples to oranges.
Since I am new to the game, I just do not see their usefulness, since they are so squishy, and don't really dish out a lot of damage. But once I start playing a few games, I might try a few games with proxy terradons, just to see how they really work Ty for the advice though.
Well they drop rocks and can chase fleeing things off the board as well as take out small things like war machines and such. I think they were better in 7th.
Yea the terradons do take a little more time to "master" but they can be useful in battle (for me anyway) and the Calvary isn't bad really its just i prefer the speed and the multiple tasks the terradons can preform. They can start the game 12" from the enemy and are -1 to shoot at. i usually target high costing guys with low armor for dropping rocks first and then i go for the war machines. thats how i play tho people have their own opinion. Hope this helps
