More Rippers would be ideal. Three can have a hard time getting the job done. The bastliadon is taking up a lot of points at 1k, but there is a pretty good chance that your opponent simply won't be able to deal with it. My advice is to save your Bastiladon until your Ripperdactyls have killed the few units able to deal with the basty and then let it run rampant through your opponent's lines.

Further tips:
  • Remember your battalion's unit move on your first hero phase.
  • Remember to place your Bloat Toad during your first hero phase
  • Make sure you are very familiar with all your Bastiladon's rules.
  • Try to kill off support heroes turn one with your Rippers.
  • Remember to declare that your Ripperdactyls will Swoop at the end of your movement phase.
  • Try to keep line of sight with your Skink Starpriest for full Battalion benefits.

Best of luck. 1k Shadowstike is extremely strong:D

Thanks for the advice :)
I may drop the skinks to two squads of 10 to add 3 more rippers?

@Solanoid Here's my recommendation, if you want to keep the Basti.

Allegiance: Seraphon
Mortal Realm: Ghur
Skink Starpriest (80)
- General
- Trait: Master of Star Rituals
- Artefact: Gryph-feather Charm

20 x Skinks (120)
- Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
10 x Skinks (60)
- Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
6 x Ripperdactyl Riders (280)
Bastiladon (280)
Shadowstrike Starhost (180)

Total: 1000 / 1000
Extra Command Points: 1
Allies: 0 / 200
Wounds: 60

3 x Razordons (120)
Troglodon (160)
Shadowstrike Starhost (180)

Extra Command Points: 1
Allies: 0 / 200
Wounds: 73

The second list gives you some decent ranged attacks, while also allowing for some fair melee from the Troglodon. I would recommend keeping Summon Starlight on that model.

I highly recommend Gryph-feather. Prism can be great, but it's a one-shot, and it needs to pair with a well rolled Arcane Bolt to really shine.
