I had a great game against a mates Empire army with my Lizardmen. It was our first time using both armies so it was very relaxed and we learned much. I took: Oldblood - Flying carpet, armour of destiny, GW Tetto'ekko Skink Priest (Beasts) Saurus warriors Skink bunker 2 Salamanders Terradons (3) Stegadon He took (ish) Gunners Knights Ludwig Halbadeirs Archers (skirmishers) Greatswords Dwarf (GW) + Runesmith - he didnt have enough points without dwarves Characters I vanguarded the stegadon, Terradons and Oldblood and he got 1st turn He took a couple of wounds off the stegadon with his gunners and killed 1 terradon with bow fire. I charged his archers with my oldblood and broke them running them down. My steg charged his knights killing 2 My terradons dropped rocks on greatswords killing a few. Salamanders toasted many many halbadiers!! He charged terradons with dwarves killing them He finished off the stegadon with his knights and reformed to face saurus. He charged saurus with halbadiers and, not surprisingly, he got munched! I charged dwarves with oldblood, challenged runesmith, slaughtered him, dwarves broke and I ran them down! I charged knights with saurus and with benefit of Iceshard Blizzard and Wyssans I slaughter the knights over 2 rounds of combat. My salamanders toast the greatswords leaving only his general and 2 dudes. He called it at this point. Conclusions: I love lizardmen!! Tetto'ekko rocks! Salamanders are awesome against man-things!! Flying Oldblood is so much fun, but Ill try a cowboy next time. Saurus blocks are awesome! Overall a fun game against a fun guy and both of us learned much
