Slann Mage Priest- Focus of Mystery, The Focused Rumination, The Becalming Cogitation, BSB, Cupped Hands, Obsidian Amulet Scar Veteran- Cold One, Light Armor, Dragon helm, Dawn stone, Venom of the Firefly Frog, Iron Curse Icon, Great Weapon 40 Saurus Warriors- Full Command 12 Skink Skirmisher x2 20 Temple Guard- Full Command, Standard of Discipline 5 Chameleon Skinks x3 Stegadon Ancient Stegadon Salamander- Extra Handler x2(two separate units) Total-2499 As I said in the title, this is my first time running the lore of light with my slann. My question is, are the saurus blocks big enough or should I drop some other units to bump them up in size? I normally run life so I don't worry so much about casualties. If there are any glaring mistakes let me know. As always any and all help is appreciated.
What are the temple guard adding? With light you really dont need to take the TG bunker, you could get about 30 saurus for them. The slann could hide in a skirmisher bunker behind your mainline, buffing yor combat units. You also have very little in the way of speedbumps/redirectors. I would probably drop some gear on the slann and a unit of camo skinks, maybe try and squeeze some point somewhere else and get a couple units of terradons or min cohort units.
i feel like 3 squads of 5 are too small for chamo skinks. try 2 squads of 8 mathhammer shows that the 16 shots from the 2 squads should be able to take out two different trebuchet or equivalent, which is a must if you are bringing two steggys
