So I did what everyone else around here seems to do. Take one skink and paint him up to test it out.

Normally I don't like standard color schemes, but I did like the blue, so I went with it, with markings of Tepok (my whole army fluff is that it's a sacred host).

The camera doesn't do justice to the base, but next time I think I'm going to lighten up the 'dry-land' sections so it doesn't blur in with the 'water' sections.

    Enjoy.

Very nice! I especially like what you did with the eyes, although I'm not so fond of the color scheme...
    Keep up the good work!

It's good, I'd like to see a better pic. Is the base water effects?

The watery parts are 'Ard Coat. Works fairly well.

Ok the miniature looks good but the soil is horrible imo. Try drybrushing it with some brown tones.

I totally agree. I tried drybrushing to keep it darker and it looks the same as the water. I need to lighten it up a ton.

I really like the purple. Is is supposed to be natural markings or warpaint?

    Looking forward to more pics.

Purple marks and scales signifies the touch of the Old One Tepok. According to my fluff my army is a sacred host so they'll all be marked thusly.

For non-spawned creatures like Stegadons, I'm going to put purple hand-prints on them--warpaint from the skinks.
