so im going the the Bug eater GT 2012 in Omaha USA. i have only been playing WH for a couple months now and just recently picked up lizardmen. i have play tested this list a couple times but only against a few different armies and i have yet to play some of the armies in warhammer ( O&G, Dwarves, BM, Empire, DE) plz leave your imput or mayb some things i need to add or take out for a well rounded list. LM in this tourny have been limited. can only have 2/4 of cube of darkness, dispell scroll, cupped hands, becalming cogitaion. and only 3 sallys 2498 Lord 480 Slaan Loremaster of Life focused rumination (xtra dice) becalming cogitation (enemy wizard discards 6's) Divine plaque of protection ( 2+ward against ranged) BSB w/ flaming banner Cube of darkness Heros 290 Mounted Scar-Vet 160pt cold one dragon helm (+1 to save 2+ward against flaming) sword of strinking (+1 hit) dawn stone (re roll failed armor saves) Light armor This guy has done amazing in all games ive put him in. with a 1+ re roll armor save he handles his own really well. he does amazing at warmachine hunting or taking out arhers and lone charachters Scar-Vet 2 130pt Gamblers Armor (Heavy armor 5+Ward) burning blade (-2 to armor save, flaming) Charmed shield Core 895 24 Saurus w/ FC 24 Saurus w/ FC 3/24 Kroxaskinks FC Special 603 25 Temple Guard FC Ironcurse Icon(6+Ward vs warmachines) 7 chameleon skinks 7 chameleon skinks Rare 225 3 sallies
I have to ask why the handicap to Lizardmen, any other lists being handicapped. If not than each of your wins should count as two, only seems fair. I don't have much experience but it seems similar to the my goal 2500 point list (except mine has more sallies)
if i was allowed i wud lol. but so far ive won 4 and lsot one, also draw 2 againt a veteran player with his new chaos dwarves
I wish you luck in the upcoming tournament. I would try to add one skink priest. I would give him the forbidden rod and the opal amulet. He can be lvl 1 as his job is to die for the magic phase. When you roll the winds of magic and get a bad roll, you pop the rod and wound the priest (or kill him). The extra dice will ensure that you have a better magic phase than your opponent. I would probably shave off a few saurus to make the points for the priest. I would also run the salamanders as one unit of one and one unit of two (if you are not already doing this).
