I'm currently working on my Stegadon base, a part of which is a fallen tree which I want to put moss on. I was planning on just using mixed flock for my moss, but I was wondering what everyone else uses. Pictures to show what it looks like would be greatly appreciated as well.

I use something called tree moss. Like the kind you get at railway model stores. Its brilliant for clumps, or use tropical leaves, sorry for ambiguity but unless you live near Oxford i doubt the shop name will help!

I would try and get my hands on some clump foliage if I were you.
It looks a bit like this:

Clump foliage seems a little to big for what I want. I just want something to appear to be a thin layer of moss growing on a fallen tree trunk. Clump foliage looks more like a shrub or bush.

if you can get your hands on some reaaaaly fine sand, you can take a bit of it and mix it with some paint, then paint it on the rock. I don't know if that'll work like I am thinking, but it might.

Fine turf (green sawdust) is what I use for all of my moss. :smug:
