In the rule book it states that flying units can move up to 10" and later that they can make a march move of 20".

Does this mean that terradons/ripperdactyls can move 10"/20" even though their profile only states 6 movement value? I'm guessing that if they were forced to move on the ground or couldn't fly then they'd be reduced to their 6"/12".

Can someone clarify this for me please?

    You got it :
Flyers fly at 10", fly-marches at 20", IF they can't fly (for instance, because of spell), they use their profile M value.

think of it as the M on the profile is the beast walking, using its feet so it cant go as fast as flying
