I had a look and couldn't see it in the options anywhere.

Is it possible to change the appearance of these forums, and or the font and size of the writing?

It being all black with tiny writing strains my eyes and makes it quite difficult to read, compared to other sites.

Try pressing 'Ctrl' and '+', your broser should zoom in
