Ok i think the sakevn pelt banner gives frenzy not just againts skaven? if so the banner is useless Ok the real question is when the banner leaves the unit does the frenzy rule stays? Because in BRB its written how can you lose frenzy. I remember similar discussions way back but i dont rimember the answer. If they retain frenzy it will be quite good banner. on turn 2 you can get 3 units to have frenzy and thats quite badass for our new PF rule
Yes you get Frenzy against everybody, you gain Hatred against Skaven. According to the Frenzy rules, unless otherwise specified, a unit can not lose Frenzy until it has been defeated in combat. So like the Daemon Herald handing out Frenzy from the back of the Blood Throne, it would appear that if the BSB leaves the unit and joins another unit, the unit he left would still retain the Frenzy Special Rule and the new unit would gain the Frenzy Special Rule. Also it says that Skaven gain Hatred against the bearer, not the entire unit. Which is good for the unit but bad for the poor BSB.
On the other hand ... Getting your frenzied BSB safely to another unit is going to be rather challenging.
well thats great i was disapointed about horn of kygor but now i like the banner its really good with PF rule and we have to pursue anyway so Will see how it works on our club game day
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x39svl_house-of-pain-jump-around_music Lore of shadow, smoke and mirrors. Every time you get a spell off, you can swap places with another character. Lets you spread the frenzy as you... well... jump around. -Matt
while will it be a chalange? im planing on using saurus block and Coc block when the game starts he will be in coc and on turn one he will get out and join sauruse and u have 2 units with frenzy The risk will be if we dont get first turn the he can be snipped in coc but still get 4+ look out if hes near sauruses?
Negative on the look out. If the slaan is in infantry, you get the 2+. If he's on his own, near infantry, you get the 4+. If he's in a unit that is not infantry, you get nothing.
Is there a specific FAQ that addresses this? If not, I think it's really stretching the rules. The unit only has the Frenzy rule because of the presence of the banner. If the banner goes away, the models themselves do not have the rule and should not have the additional attack. I would never try to pull this and would not be happy if an opponent tried to do it.
