So, I've been planing on starting a Warhammer army for some time but I've never got around to it, although I've collected 40K Eldar for 5 years. I've always loved Lizardmen and I'm now starting an army and I was wondering if anybody could give me some tips for what to include in my force or how to paint them.

Buy Terradons. You will find few lists without them (unless they cant afford the $), and if you decide you no longer want to collect LM they hold value well. They are nearly impossible to find at a discount. Everybody loves stegadons as well but when the eighth edition rules come out in July it may effect how many you can get in your list and what kind to bring.

If you ever plan to run the slann, I would start with the battalion box. If you are going to go with an old blood lord then maybe not.

Thanks guys ;) I cant belive I didn't even think to Check GW lol And Yes, I love Terradons and will have a few, along with a stegadon. I dont really mind them capping how many steggies you can take though. I find Spaming opponents with massive numbers of them is Cheesey and and above all just not very fun lol I've seen many people do this.

I you are interested in some diferent paint schemes, look aroud the painting section here,
    and over at the pyramidvault.net, warseer.com, and coolminiornot.com. ;)

I also find nature quite inspiring, look up things like poison dart frogs, tree frogs,
salamanders, newts, lizards, snakes, and other reptiles. ;)

I've decided That my LM paint scheme is gonna resemble my Alaitoc Eldar army. Blue Skin and Yellow Scales. Very bright and vibrant colors to :D Give it a tropical jungle look.
