Its been a while since Ive posted, but I recently redid my saurus warriors (still WIP). I dont have any before pics, but they were just camo green with a green ink wash. I recently added red scales and a tan colored belly. As they are just core units (and re-painted) I didnt go crazy with the detail, but I like the red and it ties them in better with my Sotek themed army.

I may take a lighter red and outline some of the scales, but as they are core, they dont need to be crazy. Any tips would be appreciated.

looking good, altought I wish you had posted a lower shot
so that we could see their repainted tan bellies. ;)

I finally broke down and bought a Bastilidon. Im trying out a pattern that Ive seen on turtle shells. Im going to build up to darker lines, but Id like feedback on how it looks so far.

The pattern on the bastiladon looks really cool! Also looks very time consuming, but its gonna be worth it in the end. Keep up the good work :)
 
Bast should look great when you have more blending done!

Sorry if it has been asked: Where did the shields come from? I have a unit of current Saurus with the old round shields, and they look cool, but yours are huge!
 
thank you, hopefully the basti wont take too long lol.as for the shields, i bought some finishing washers from the hardware store and put the old shields in the middle of the washer.
