Pretty traditional but I'm happy with my general's paint job! Haven't been able to replicate this level of success yet with my other models.

according to the way you spelled "gor-roCk" i was expecting something like an electric guitar in place of his mace, or drumsticks in his hands with a monster drumkit with two kickdrums and tons of cymbals around him

Hahaha, I guess my phone auto corrected that one on me. But that's a good conversion idea. I might stick to calling him Gor Rock from now on.

Thanks for the love folks, the shield was pretty simple. Black primer, heavily dry brush Auric Gold, two layers of nuln oil, then a really light dry brush of auric gold again on the most raised portions.
