Just got my lizardmen Battalion from GW in the mail monday Must say, Top notch product just like everything else they make. I am now officially a lizardmen player! Got my first battle against my friends Tomb Kings tonight. He just got the Tomb Kings battalion, and a Liche priest. I'm just using the cold one rider champion as a scar vet for now. I'll let you all know how it goes!
Cool good luck with it! TK are generally weak in such small battles, however, it seems you will have no magic resistance beyond the base 2 DD so be careful about what you try to stop. It should be a decent match up, but without high numbers I think the undead will have a tough time beating you.
Well I won It was a fun little battle and not really all that much to be proud of but it was enjoyable and I officially love lizardmen. I'm sure we messed some rules up but we're both new to fantasy battle, so I can officially talk on the forum without feeling out of place!
Mate, I've been playing the game for 11 years now and I still mess up rules or run into situations that my opponent and I don't know how to solve. As long as the interpretation is fair and you aren't making crazy illegal armies and combos, you both have fun, it doesn't matter. The more you play the more you will learn too.
Can we get this in giant text on the front of every warhammer related web-page? Or at least where the rules are concerned. I played against my brother using just the lizardmen and bretts from the 5th edition boxset for ages back in the day, and we got loads of rules wrong. Anyway, i ramble on. Keep us up to date with your games and collecting Have you tried any painting yet?
Isn't it in a big sidebar in the front of the BRB labeled the "MOST IMPORTANT RULE"? But I agree more websites need to take this rule to heart.
Lol yeah, it's a big side bar in fantasy battle and 40k rulebooks. I've been collecting Eldar for about five years now (40k for about 6 1/2 all together) so I've done a fair amount of painting so far
Well your further along then me, I have yet to paint any of my lizardmen. Two young kids and a wife in school barely leaves me time to assemble and play
