8th Ed. Grand army 3200pts

    Hello!

    I have been playing WHFB for almost 1 year now and after 4 battles with my WoC friend (all losses but made some mistakes) decided to ask some help for my list. I have been playing with same kind of list, except the core has been almost full of saurus before. Decided to change that totally. Also had oldblood only in 1 game and that was succes. Tetto'eko has been there also but against those armour saves its pretty much useless, I mean he kinda does nothing slann does better except the rerolls and vanguard. I have fallen in love with focus of mystery slann able to swap into searing doom in turn1<3.

    So heres the list.

    Lords 776pts

    Saurus Oldblood, Co, Shield, The other tricksters shard, Glitterin scales, Fencers Blades, Dawnstone

    Slann, BSB, War Banner (in TG), Forbidden Rod
    Becalming Cognition
    Focus Of Mystery
    Reservoir of..
    Soul of Stone

    Heroes 509pts

    Scar Veteran, CO, GW, Razor standard (prob in TG too) Tricksters helm

    Skinkpriest, cloak of feathers

    Skinkpriest, cube of darkness

    6x Skink Skirmishers x12

    3 units with javs and shields 3 units with blowpipes

    Skroxigor unit wiht 3 kroxies and 24 skinks, musician, standard bearer and Brave

    10xChameleons with stalker

    26x Temple guard with musician, standard bearer and revered one, maybe more banners and magic weapon here?

    Rare 520pts

    2xAncient stegadons with blowpipes and full upgrades.



    57 Points to spare but I just dont know how to use them?
    Last game was only 1000pts with him and it was first game with core of only skinks and kroxigor and I liked it a lot! It was easy to make enemy's bad hitters round in circles for the whole game and try to blast the weaker ones with magic and shooting. I lost slightly in points becouse I placed my other skirmisher poorly, they got killed as warriors pursuited into them after killing my sally, they were only like 6'' from him so it was just a silly mistake. My enemy likes to bring sorcerers for dispelling my magic so any tactics to get rid of that asap would be golden!

    Hi

    Firstly your slann is BSB so your scar vet cant have the razor banner and if the scar vet is the BSB he cant have the razor banner and a magic item. But you could have the razor banner on the temple guard as they are allowed a banner up to 50pts.

    I like the list, but I'm definately in the saurus camp. I find in a skroxigor unit the skinks leak way too much combat res so the unit only works when they are stubborn. I would loose that unit and prob 1 or 2 of the skirmishers for a unit of saurus. I think 4 units of skirmishers and one unit of chameleons is enough. I'd also try and squeeze in some sallies somewhere too
