After making a few posts I figured I would introduce myself.

Hello, my name is _______. I hail of a land across the sea, beautiful and fair, when it's not raining; which it is. I used to play lizardmen back in the day but they went the way of drunken accidents. So I picked up Skaven. Have a good 2500 pts, maybe more of the little buggers. Recently me and my buddy met another guy who also plays Skaven so I figured this would be a good time to puck up the Lizards again. Right in time for the new book too.

I hear it doesn't rain as much relative to the rest of the country in the northwest, it's just poets and fiction writers are stuck in our national conscience.

For a good primer on the new book, you should check out the Tactica Index, it should keep you busy a while. The basic overview on top is probably where you should get started.

The forum is loaded with goodies. We got good painters and fluff writers and a guy who helps make everyone who asks a free avatar.

I've been through the tactica many times. Has helped introduce the new units and recap the old ones. The painting thread will prolly be where I spend most of my time though. Helps with inspiration.

The great thing about the northwest is that it is a rain forest but oddly we've had a very sunny, dry fall. Usually it's cloudy and rainy from november to about may with little breaks of sunshine. We don't get [many of] those heavy down poors like, say tuscan, az, it's more of a constant wet for 6+ months.
