Guardians of Temple Chaq hau(Dark mist)

This is the last addition to my Temple city, Kai-Gor the Fleshtearer... It needs some more paint job, but I want to share it with you...

Great choice of colours and good paint job, looks cool. I'm not so sure about the base though.. The first pic gave me the impression he was surfing. :P In the second one, it doesn't look like he is on it smoothly, you should try to model it around his feet a bit so it really looks like he is standing on it. What is it meant to be btw? A rock?
 
Your painting style is very clear! I love the colours too, they don't clash like some variant schemes *coughguilty*
