I've just been browsing the GW website in the Tomb King section and what do i find........ New battlion box set, sounds interesting. Click on it and it contains exactly the same as the old battlion, except you get 8 more skeleton warriors so you can make 2x20units from the set instead of 2x16 or some variation on that. Ok, fine. But apparently that warrants upping the price from £52 english to £70!!!!! Its bang out of order! basically your paying an extra £18 ish for 8 skellies. OUTRAGED!!!!! Yours Aye Mixer
I agree. I'm. Just hoping my ogre kingdoms battalion comes in before they redo that book. They'll add 3 bulls, or maybe 10 knoblars, and jack the price $30 US
Wow really? My girlfriends birthday present just got 20 quid more expensive.... For that price they better carry me and it the 25ish miles I travel to get to my local store back home! Well, 21ish but shh!
Yep, its insane. And that may well set the precedent for the rest of the batallion boxes unfortunately. Additionally, there is going to be a 10-20% price rise on most kits across all models in the next month or so, right when the overpriced resins come in.
