    Welcome to Lustria,
hmm well that's a unique question,
I suppose you could start him on some character models?
we have some lovely skink chiefs and priest, also some decent scar-vet an old blood models.

Welcome to the forum. I agree with n810 that your friend should start with a few characters and gradually ease into the hobby.

That's one of the things I like most about this army!

What they said, though painting big dinosaurs naturally holds some appeal, you probably want to work your way up from small projects. Basically whatever he thinks looks cool.

You can browse the main painting forum or the Itza Gallery of Fine Arts for some inspiration.
