Hello everyone! My name is John and I am a new Seraphon/Lizardmen hobbyist. I have to be honest and admit that for most of my time in the hobby I had no interest in the Lizardmen and thought the idea of dinos riding dinos to be kind of silly. However my views changed when my daughter, who turns four next week, started to become interested in all the little figures I was building and painting. She loves dinosaurs and during a trip to my FLGS she saw one of the Seraphon start collecting boxes and was instantly obsessed with it. She was insistent that I had to paint them and so we of course left with box. Fast forward a few weeks and I am loving building and painting these minis and I have seen the error of my views on the army. As I kid I also loved dinosaurs just like she does. So I guess I just needed my kid to help me get back in touch with my inner kid self. Dinos riding dinos are awesome!!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I will be starting a painting log thread soon to follow my progress as I work on my army. I also played in my first ever tournament today and came in 2nd with my Seraphon! I'm really pumped about this because I'm kinda bad at wargaming and I don't win very often lol. I think I might start a batrep thread as well.
