Hi Lustira,
I'm getting back into AOS and I'm looking to play in some tournaments in the new future. I have a few models to put together but the below is my list:
Celestant-Prime (340)
Slann Starmaster (260)
Skink Starpriest (80)
UNITS
20 x Skinks (120)
20 x Skinks (120)
10 x Skinks (60)
10 x Skinks (60)
6 x Ripperdactyl Riders (280)
3 x Ripperdactyl Riders (140)
4 x Razordons (160)
4 x Razordons (160)
BATTALIONS
Shadowstrike Starhost (180)
TOTAL: 1960/2000
The idea is to have enough skinks on the board, plus the shadowstrike movement, to play the objective game the first 2 turns and then bring in the Prime to help fight off enemies either contesting objectives with the skinks or enemy objectives left unprotected. The Slann is there for summoning skinks.
I think this list gives your opponent a lot to think about and hopefully it makes them make bad movement decisions. I don't ever see myself tabling people with this list, it's about the objectives. It probably is hard countered by a few things, but I think it will be fun to play.
How would you finish it? What endless spell would you take? I was even considering dropping 1x Razordon for another 10x skinks.
