I've listed my current model collection in this post. I have yet to field the Slann, Temple Guard and Steg.

I am having trouble making a force that can cope with my friends armies. I play against Dark Elves, Dwarves, and Warriors of Chaos and have yet to win!

Any ideas of lists using these models would be great, and suggestions of "must get" models so I can have a more flexible collection in the future.

I feel like I am letting our side down :)

Oh. I did beat the Tomb Kings. But my wife was in charge and she is as useless as me :)

Yes I agree with the terradons. Flyers are some of the most helpful units in Warhammer.
The carnosaur is also pretty helpful in playing most against nearly any army. A mean oldblood on a carnosaur is easily capable of taking care of enemy characters and enemy units if it is supported by some saurus or saurus cav.

Another thing you could do with your models is run a slann and a EOtG. A magic heavy list with both of these at the front is very mean and few lists can stop all of the magic you will be putting out. If you are going to run the temple guard with the slann, you might want to get ten more of those also so that they have rank bonuses in combat.

Units like kroxigors are also pretty helpful.

Other than that I think you are good for the most part. :D

EOTG is essential. I have to say that I have had more success with running the magic heavy slann army with an EOTG priest. I also take 3 terradon riders and stick a skink chief on a terradon and give him the staff of lost sun for the x3 S5 shots he gets that hit on a 3+ (18 inch range). He can hunt very well. Plus you keep him with the terradons to shield him from taking wounds and drop rocks as a unit on something for some good garaunteed hits.

There is also alot to be said about skink skirmishers. I played a game today where a beastman Ghorgon ate my EOTG. After that, I could not touch him with anything until I got a squad of 10 skink skirmishers in range to shoot him with 2 blowpipe shots each. 20 shots that hit on 5 and poisoned on 6. I rolled 5 sixes that time and then an addition six to wound as normal. I dropped him. With Skinks! My terradons did their jobs well too, but that was hands down the best move.

A note on using a Carnosaur. You have to get that thing up the middle and into combat with any unit it can reach. The longer you stay out of combat, the more useless it becomes. Run it straight up the middle.

The last thing that I will tell you is to learn your oppenent's army. What will he always bring? What tactic works best for him? What is bad for him?

If it is a magic heavy army (Dark Elves, High Elves), take the slann with two priests (and take dispell scrolls on those priests). Shut down his magic phase. Lizardmen armies are made to own the magic phase.

Ask those questions, work on your deployement, and you should gain some ground.

    My 2 cents.

    Thanks for the help guys.

I have a Slann but haven't played with it yet. Lots of green stuff is needed to get him together. The EOTG will be out once it has had a coat of paint.

It seems some terradons are a must then. I will put them on my to buy list :)

from a player who has yet to field terradons as well. i have found that 2 strong blocks of saurus warriors. and add in your 10 temple guard with slann in it has proved to be pretty good. your COC should be sufficient against most units. but i would suggest getting some kroxigors. my 3 kroxigors take out Chaos knights all the time. but you do need an EotG. that's a MUST against DE and Warriors of Chaos. just remember that this is a dice roll game. anything can happen!! :D
