Hey! I'm in kinda a mess here! I've Glued all parts for Grymloq together, but i can't glue him to the base! I've tried both Super Glue Thin (Which i was reccomended by GW employee), and Plastic glue just in case! it still won't stick to the base! please give me some advice for this! :(

I had the same problem, so I used greenstuff, like knut. If you don't have greenstuff try basing the base.

    Cheers!

Yeah, getting big metal minis to stand still can be a real pain. I remember trying to base my DE manticore - it's balanced on two very small feet...

Install pins in his feet, and use green stuff to hold. "Super" glue isn't super enough for this.

Don't bother with plastic glue on metals. It only works because it literally melts the plastic on both halves and essentially cold welds things together, but it cannot melt metal.

I put a small amount of greenstuff under one foot for stability and just used a bunch of super glue, no pins neccesary. See if you can balance it against something to help it stay while the glue dries. Also make sure the bottom of the feet are as flat as you can make them. File them down a bit so there is a nice flat surface to adhere to.

Finally, if you are having trouble with super glue drying slowly, moisture accelerates the process. Don't use too much or it weakens the bond and makes it thicker. I find hold the piece close to my mouth and blowing on it adds enough humidity from my breath to help, just make sure you never breath in too close to the glue because it is toxic.

I never had any problem just using super glue. Just find something to prop him up against while it bonds and leave him alone for a while. When you think hes done drying, wait longer :p

    @ Kugruk

Yeah! It worked! too bad that i did it before i saw your comment about it. I took a toothpick and cut it down, then i glued the carno to the base and glued the toothpick to the base with PG. It worked to perfection and now i'm done painting it! it didn't come out as i wanted since i don't have all painting in the world(s) nor painting skills! i'll post the finished Ancient Scar leader Kroq-Gar on Grymloq as soon as i'm back from vacation in the north!
