8th Ed. help with army

    hi guys i am getting ready for a tournament for 2400pts and was wanting your opinion on my list.

    Slann: bsb, lore of metal, focus of mystery, fouces of rumination, cuped hands of the old ones,
    divine plaque ofprotection.
    Skink priest: engine of the gods, cube ofdarkness

    30x saurus: hand weapon, shield, FC
    30x saurus: hand weapon, shield, FC
    10x skink skirmishers: shield, javelin
    10x skink skirmishers: shield, javelin

    stegadon
    4x terradons
    5x chameleon skinks: brave

    Ancient Stegadon

    So please tellme what you think of this allopinions are welcome.

    Metal is not really a very good lore for this type of list since it doesn't mesh well with an army that already has scaly skin. Light works well and shadow would also be a decent choice since it has many hexes and mindrazor is awesome (not to mention casting steed of shadows on the EotG for laughs!!). Also, there is only one form of magical attack in the army and if the T2 priest gets assassinated, then that is gone as well and an ethereal could easily hold up an entire block. That being the case, it might be worth it to replace the baby steg with a scar vet cowboy, which would also free up some points for other stuff - perhaps another unit of scouts to kill war machines before they take out the stegs. Giving the skirmishers javelins is nice but a very expensive upgrade for a disposable unit. If possible I would drop the javelins and try to field three chaff units with blowpipes.
