help with these terradons

Ok I was at gamesday on sunday and saw this on the armies on parade and wondered if anyone had any ideas on how to make terradons like these cos I hate the flying bases as I always snap them.

That picture is so small I don't even see any terradons.... you mean the flowing seaweed in the corner?

he has just bent the wings so they look folded, and to be honest, it doesnt look very good, since the bend is not sharp enough. bones do not bend like that. rubber do. if you want it looking good you will have to cut the wings off and model the joint anew with greenstuff.

Use the pic button instead of the Img button. Spammers use Img so by not using that code this forum keeps them from posting stuff you don't want to see about enlarging members.

That tiered temple city is freaking boss. Makes me want to go foam-crazy.

The brick work is so fine I think he used herst art molds and homemade copies of the lizardman glyphs.

I believe that there is a thread here somewhere on the making of that, or at least better pictures of it. My search-fu isn't the best, I will try to find it though.

thanks i can see them closer now. I wasnt able to get near enough to them at gamesday to get a decent photo.
