8th Ed. Herding Skinks (it's like a cloud but with more Cowboys)

I've seen lists with a few Cowbows and I've seen monster mash lists. Has anyone considered the Skink Herding list?

Say 2400 points ish
9*10 Skink Skirmishers
3 Old Bloods on Cold Ones
5 Scar Vets on Cold Ones

The idea is you can either run the Cowbows in (or as) a unit or hide one with each skink unit (not IN each skink unit, but this is where I got the term 'herd' from).

You won't have the tooled up Saurus but you have the flexibility on who you charge and when. Throw in either an Engine or more likely a Lazer Basty to use your power dice. Sprinkle with Salimanders to help with hordes.

Any thoughts?

Could work, extra point if you paint your skinks in cow spots and cowboy themed scar-vets.
also you should probaly make one of those cowboys a BSB.

You could make a pretty beefy hero unit too.

Just remember, one of those Oldbloods is the General. The rest are just beat sticks. With all those LD 5 skinks around, you'll probably want him in the thick of everything.

Skink clouds are fun, but you might forget to move a unit or two sometimes. That or forget who did and didn't shoot.

On a serious note, one of the Scar Vets should be BSB to help you get more rallies.
