Hello.
I am just starting Lizardmen. To be honest I haven't played a game of Warhammer in nearly twenty years so this could be an interesting little foray into the realms of awesome. I took up painting again in 2009 though so thankfully I'm not rusty at that at all. So my Lizardmen is a part painting project but also I want them to be the army I return to gaming with.
I've 'inherited' a battalion box, + 4 CoC, a skink priest, and a Stegadon.
I'm assuming the next move is to stock up on Skinks first then Saurus? From reading the forum I get the feeling I'm not going to use all 12 CoC but I think I will convert one into a Scar vet. Either way I hope you guys can advise
I'm going to put some shots up of the paint jobs as well. I'm not great but I think I can hit tabletop standard fairly consistently (whatever that is). I was thinking a leopard gecko theme for the Skinks and a standard blue for the Saurus, with cream shields with markings on. I know the blue can sound a little dull but there's a bit of artwork with a blue Saurus on that just looks astounding, and I want that look.
Anyway I look forward to hearing from you guys and I'll be off posting and painting and being active all over the place
