I just wanted to introduce myself and hope to become an active member on the forum. I have been playing for about a year now and have been a lurker on the forum for about the same amount of time. I have a fair collection so far that I can post in complete later when I am home but I am currently running a Skink list that is modified from something I had found here. I also have a small Tau 40k army for anybody who does that as well.

It's always interesting to hear news about different metas: which army do you usually face, and what kind of lists tend to dominate (if there are)?

I play a lot of Chaos, Skaven, and Death at my shop, it's also pretty cutthroat we see a lot of nasty lists. There has also been a surge of Sylvaneth and Stormcast. Since I play at a GW though the focus as been on 40k recently however.

Welcome friend! I am mostly a fantasy player but I have become interested in AoS since they released the Kharadron Overlords, and am thinking of perhaps having a go with some Fyreslayers in the mix too. Although I don't like the sound of the 'nasty lists' you talk about. There was a chap at my local GW who did the same whenever he played me - played Warriors of Chaos for fantasy and used a Mumak in Middle Earth. He was the sort of bloke who always wanted to win.

A surge of Sylvaneth? Hideous, abominable, vile! I'll not be among those weaklings...
