I recently picked up my Warhammer Fantasy stuff from my parents house to try and salvage some of it. Managed to restore an old skink priest, 20 skinks and around 10 saurus warriors. Things got out of hand from there pretty quick. Two of my friends (Ironjawz/Empire) did the same and we have now played our first few AoS games.

Discovered this forum a few weeks ago and have been browsing for a few weeks and already learned a lot. I will probably be looking for some help building some fun lists with the models that I have and some advice on what to buy next. One problem I have is that my friends both have a lot more units which enables them to make more choices when building larger lists.

You will get plenty of feedback from this lot

May I advise getting hold of a slaan and astrolith bearer for two reasons;

1: they are cool models, they look great and you will need a general with some ‘umpff’ against orcs n such.

2: new rules for AoS are coming out very soon and the lizards are getting some interesting summoning abilities (both the above models) are needed to be able to tap into it (basically you generate points per hero phase that you can store up and spend as you wish to summon free units) so that will be mighty useful, the models themselves also have some great synergies for the army that will be needed to combat tough opponents.

Once you have that...then it’s time for you to go get some big sexy ass dinosaurs
