    Hi guys,

I'm relatively new to WFB, and in forums as well TBH.

8th Edition is the first edition I have played, but have absolutely loved it so far. Been getting a load of grief from my gaming mates as the first army I have collected and played is Dwarves. People obviously don't like the little Gimli's! Had a pretty decent success rate with the bearded chaps (I'm told it's down to the dwarves having a strong list) but wanted an army I enjoyed playing with more.

Really glad I've chosen Lizardmen they have tonnes of character and are quick and easy to paint quick (a must for me with a nagging missus!)

The main reason for this post is whilst I'm a relative newbie to the game I really need to lose my Magic Phase Virginity! So was hoping some of you Lizard vets could give me a few pointers for effective lores to use, Slann/Priest ideas or anything else you can think of.

I know it's a broad topic but any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

Well for Lizards, you are generaly going to see a lot of Slann runing the Lore of Life, a few runing light,
and little of the rest.... ocasionaly someone will take shadow, beast, death, or fire.
If you are not using the Slann you are going to heve to use a Skink Priest, and they can only use the Lore of Heavens.

All that being said, Slann are the best non-special character as far a magic goes, both in offence and defence.
