Hi everyone, I've decided to finally use my lizards in 8th. I haven't seen anyone around my local GW playing them lately and I wonder why? How are lizards in this Ed. and what advise can anyone give me? I usually play at 1500pts against beasts so I'll have a list up soon, but I was hoping for some tips before I dive into that. Thanks for the help!

Well, Lizardmen are a very viable army in 8th edition. Its possible that no one likes the army in your area :) As for tips: Cold One Cavalry would be too expensive for a battle that size, Kroxigors arn't as effective as they used to be, Saurus are still cold blooded killers in h2h against all but the elite infantries, Slann's rule the magic phase now, Lore of Light and Lore of Life are the most commonly used Lores in the Lizardmen armies, chameleon skinks are now the best scouts in the game, and Salamanders are an amazing addition to your army. Thats a quick list of tips ;)

The tactics and discussion boards will have a lot more of a mouthful to say than I do, trust me :)
