I know this has been asked before but i really want a straight answer. What's the best way to make a wash? And what colour washes do you use on specific basecoats? Say a blue basecoat...or a yellow base coat? thanks!

I'll just water down citadel paints with clean water. The great thing about doing so is you can make it as watery (runny) or as thick as you like it. For the most part I only use black and a couple of differant colors of browns. Occasionally if I'm using an off-normal color of base (like yellow or blue as you mentioned) then I'll go with a darker paint of like color (like regal blue or Golden yellow). If I think the color needs to be darker or lighter I'll add in black or white (respectively).

    Helpfull?

All very helpful! Thanks! I'll post the result of the piece I'm working on once he's washed and highlighted.
