7th Ed. How do you build your slann

    Just wondering what you guys are going to do with your Slann builds from the new book,

    What options you will take, How many and what magic items etc.

    I am new to lizard men so it would be great to see how you guys will kit your slann out.

    Me I am not sure yet but as I mainly play against VC I will proberly use light magic but not sure.

    Over to you ?

    Slann

    Focus of Mystery

    Focused Rumination
    BSB

    Cupped Hands of the Old Ones (bound to miscast casting so much)

    2 Power Stones (so when all dispel scrolls are expended you can pump out all 6 spells in a turn)

    Hi, I am also new too, but this is what I was thinking of for the army I shall start soon

    Slann
    Higher State of Consciousness
    Focused Rumination
    Plaque of Tepok

    340 Points

    Nice and cheap, but still pretty deadly and not all that easy to kill.

    I like taking plaque of tepok over using a discipline for Focus of Mystery because 5 out of 6 spells in a lore is still pretty close and it leaves room for a different discipline.

    For super cheap armies, I only use Focus of Mystery and Focused Rumination.

    If your going to commit to being a Magic Powehouse you need all the spells. Not only are lores like Beasts, Fire, and death great, but you will be kicking yourself when you dont get Conflag of doom against all them Forest Spirits. If your going to commit, you can make a hearty hard to kill Slann that MAXIMIZES his abilities for a good point cost. Not having the Cup of the Old Ones is just asking for trouble.
